Introducing some of my aromatic products
The full range of aromatic parfum (body) oils and massage oils are now up on the website. My first trial run of massage oils sold out!
I make these all fresh to order in small batches so you are getting the absolute best. Here I will explain the difference between the aromatic parfum oils and the massage oils.
Firstly the aromatic parfum oils are a really luxurious way of adding natural perfume into your body care. The base oils are vey rich and hydrating and designed to both soak into the skin and remain of the surface so you can enjoy the aroma for as long as possible. The base oil is a unique combination of NZ golden hempseed, which is rich in essential fatty acids, without the strong nutty oil of green hempseed. It is accompanied by organic virgin coconut oil, organic baobob oil and organic jojoba oil. A few pumps is all that is needed to layer a gorgeous perfume on your body after showering. Believe it or not the oil also makes a great hair oil as a prewash conditioner - run one or two pumps through your hair and massage into the scalp for a great treat. Wash out with your usual shampoo. The aroma will linger in your hair. If you aren't sure which aromatic body oil is best for you then do look at the sample pack - also great for travelling. In very cold weather the oil may harden a little due to the baobob, jojoba and coconut, however holding the bottle in your hand will soften it. The silver glass bottle can be refilled as needed. Each aromatic body oil contains rare and precious aromatics including absolutes, essential oils and CO2 extracts. I have combed the globe buying only the best aromatics from trusted specialist suppliers.
Tne Body Massage oils are a different combination of base oils with some of the precious extracts in the aromatic parfum oils, but at a lower precentage and combined with other aromatics. This makes for a more cost effective option for massage, as you typically need to use more oil. the base oil contains the hydrating hempseed oil, and is combined with organic sunflower oil, which is light. The additional of organic fractionated coconut oil (plam free), helps make the oil more sutiabe for massage, where you need a combination of slipperiness for the long effleurge strokes, but alos a degree of grip for keading muscles or picking on specifc muscles and working on them. I alos make a massage cream to order which can help for specific muscle work. My top seller is the lavender Goddess Massage oil, and I use the amazing organic lavender oil from Ben Lomond Lavender Farm in Queenstown.
Finally for both the Aromatic Body Oil and massage oil I can do a personalised blend froma preselected range of oils. If you want somethign even more bespoke I offer a consulting service. it has been an absolute joy creating these blends and researching and sourcing the ingredients. enjoy! Wendy x
