Aromatic Home Study Package
Information
I have put this home study learning package together based on over 30 years teaching and researching aromatherapy. The learning package has 10 chapters, and includes the most up to date information about the essential oils and how to use them. Content also includes PDF's of some of my hard to find reaearch and bonus content of some of the research prsentations I have given internationally.
Content includes:
Essential oil quality, methods of extraction, oils from the myrtaceae family, aroma psychology, citrus oils, perfumery and aesthetic blending, carrier oils, making your own cosmetics, resins, spice oils, CO2 extracts, floral oils and other evidence based content.
Supported learning package- you complete the learning package over 6 months and receive support and feedback from Wendy along the way (via email and video), and includes a sample collection of 50 different aromatic extracts (0.5-1gm samples). At the completion you submit two case reports and complete an online open book test. When you have completed this you receive a Certificate of Attainment issued by Aromatic Adventures which details what you have covered. The time allocated for this option is 200 hours of learning.
The content is supplied as a PDF via a google docs link due to the size. the link can only be accessed once for you to download the file. Bonus content is offered via seperate links and presentations are via youtube and you have access to these for the six months of your learning package.
Somethings to note:
- The package is based on self directed learning and is not accredited by any authority
- The learning package links and support are available for six months once paid for and you have a further three months to complete the assessment work
- Completing this packages would entitle you to apply for associate membership of the NZ Register of Holistic Aromatherapists (NZROHA). If you complete additional training in anatomy and physiology and other subjects you may be able to apply for professional membership once clinical case studies are compelted
